The Middle Province

The beating heart of Gaza Strip — a central location and a rich economic history

The Middle Province enjoys a distinguished geographical location in the heart of the Gaza Strip, situated between the provinces and extending from the western coast to the eastern areas, making it a key link between the north and south of the Strip.

Thanks to this central location, the Middle Province has played an important role in supporting the local economy through agricultural, commercial, and service activities, in addition to hosting thousands of small and medium enterprises that contributed to job creation.

Its markets and commercial centers have attracted residents from various provinces due to its central location and easy access via Salah Al-Din Street, the main artery for movement and trade within the Strip.

Despite the significant damage it has sustained, the Middle Province has once again proven to be a symbol of resilience, as its people, traders, and farmers continue to work with strong determination to restore life to their cities and camps.

The Middle Province, despite its wounds, will remain the beating heart of the Gaza Strip, capable of rising again and restoring its vital role in supporting the Palestinian economy and serving the community.
